STORY:  Palm Sunday

Discussion Questions

1. What did Jesus ride into Jerusalem? (donkey)
2. What did the people who believed he was the new king do? (waved palm branches, spread their coats on the ground)
3. What did the men who didn't believe he was the king do? (told him to make the people be quiet)

Making Palm Palms

The kids will trace their hands on green construction paper, cut them out and use them to make Palm branches.  Once the class is finished with their palm branches, they will parade around the room shouting, "Hosanna in the highest."
